26 things about me

A few things about me, for those of you who know little or nothing, just to personalize this ramble of mine a little. It’s always better to know where a person is coming from. And if you already know? Well perhaps there is something here you don’t know? (And just because of this post I might have to write about the ego-centrism in blogging later!;))

26 random things about me in no particular order:

1. My favorite author is Haruki Murakami
2. My favorite book is Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World.
3. I am shy
4. I love to run
5. I live in Sweden
6. I lived the first 25 years of my life in Iceland
7. I am 3… (I forget?) something? 6? years old
8. I write. It’s a compulsion
9. I love and live with the nicest man on earth
10. I’ve been a postal worker =)
11. I love Lasagna, especially if there is a glass of red to go with it
12. I detest the notion relayed in “Summer of 69” with Brian Adams – that the best years of your life are behind you!
13. My lucky number is 3 (I think)
14. I love reading horror, watching horror
15. I want to learn Spanish sometime in my life
16. I listen to everything from Enya to Rammstein
17. Lost in Translation and Pan’s Labyrinth are currently my favorite movies
18. Having said that I’ve seen Back to the Future and Top Gun more often than I can count
19. I’m afraid of flying
20. I think people should be valued after their qualities and not after their girth, size of their nose or something they do which doesn’t concern other people than themselves
21. I tend to over-do things or not do them at all
22. I tend to watch a lot of TV while I’m working
23. I love photographing
24. I listen to audiobooks when I can’t sleep at night (insomniac at times) Listening to horror in the dark is a thrill
25. I wish people would look a little further than they do sometimes
26. This is me doing what I love

That’s what I could come up with quickly.
Happy Easter!

    – I am ashamed to admit that I’ve yet to read a Murakami book. 😦
    – Lasagna. Yum!
    – I’m too much of a chicken to watch horror movies BUT I am starting a book club and I suggested we read ‘Let the right one in’. Have you read it?

Loved this post. I prefer to remain a little more anonymous though. 🙂

You really should pick up Murakami. Won’t regret it.
I haven’t read let the right one in but I’ve read some of his other stuff. He’s alright. Love book clubs! 😉
I was actually going for a little more low-key than this entry too. I think this will be the only thing like this I’ll do. But who knows what the future will bring. 🙂
